An electric fence surrounds the private lodges but it keeps people in and not all animals out. We do not recommend small children walking alone outside the enclosed garden. Walking in groups during daytime is recommended. Although wildlife is present near or on the property, basic cautionary measures will ensure your safety. Our lodge has an enclosed garden/courtyard which makes is fairly safe to walk around at night, but you will have to keep your eyes open for snakes and other creepy crawlies. As far as crime is concerned, we are probably the safest place to be.
